About This Challenge

In Battle of Stars – ENJOY AI 2026, teams go head-to-head in an exciting and strategic robotics battle.
This is not just about pushing robots—every move matters. Teams must collect objects, stack structures, and control key areas of the field while competing directly against an opponent.

Success depends on strategy, teamwork, and the ability to adapt quickly during intense matches.

What You Will Do

  • Design and build a competitive robot
  • Program both autonomous and remote-controlled actions
  • Compete directly against another team in real-time
  • Stack meteor pillars in the correct order
  • Collect and place energy blocks into defense zones
  • Score points by placing balls into collection boxes
  • Work with your teammate to plan and execute strategies

How Scoring Works

Teams earn points by completing tasks and outperforming their opponent:

  • Meteor Tower: stack 3 pillars correctly (100 points)
  • Energy Defense: place blocks in defense zone (10 points each)
  • Full Firepower: score balls into collection boxes (15 points each)
  • Final Fortress: complete all conditions and remove the energy ball for an instant win
  • Bonus points for smooth runs with fewer retries

The team with the highest score—or the team that achieves the Final Fortress win—wins the match.

Game Strategy

This is a true battle—strategy makes the difference:

  • Balance attack and defense during the match
  • Coordinate roles between teammates
  • Control key scoring areas on the field
  • Decide when to score points or block your opponent
  • Adapt quickly to changing situations

Robot Requirements

  • Maximum size: 30 × 30 × 30 cm at start
  • Built using plastic snap-fit building systems only
  • Maximum 7 motors (servos included)
  • Powered by one internal battery (≤9V)
  • No glue, tape, screws, or external modifications allowed
  • Combination of autonomous and remote control allowed

Competition Format

Each match lasts 180 seconds and is played between two teams (Red vs Blue).

The competition includes:

  • Preliminary rounds (round-robin groups)
  • Final knockout rounds

Teams are ranked based on wins, points, and performance across matches.
